The Challenge

Flexible load.
Feeding a marking laser with handles of wood hairbrushes and combs of different forms. No mechanical operations for pieces’ change are needed.

The Solution

An anthropomorphic robot driven by a vision system picks up the pieces randomly supplied by a vibrating hopper. The robot collects pieces independently from the side they stand: if necessary, they are flipped on the basis of a second camera indications. The system can virtually manage the load of any kind of flat object.
Installed in Italy.
