The client required the automated assembly of auto-lubricant bushing on steel supports. The process consists in a sequence of steps: the supports grip from a palletized storage, their orientation, the bushings grip ( randomly located ), their orientation, lubrication and application on the support and then their insertion through servo-control electric press.
The system autonomously completes all the phases of the process by using a robot and two vision system in order to grab the randomly located bushings and to orient the supports.
